NICE Lyssa focus, Faowri! And that hammer resembles the gate in the Underworld, ravensong!

Well, this one made it to Finalist, but I can understand their decision not to advance it due to some of its features.

Guess I'll throw my non-winning entries into the pile.

Not sure why Ravensong, Faowri, StarrTheInsan, Jademoney88x, and clawofcrimson didn't goet the Honerables.. as they are certainly much better than what I could of done... maybe the mailman losted it?

That sword by Andre Roux doesn't look too bad, but they'll probably make the skin too small. -_ -

love the color on that sword! My warrior uses axes, so I like that it was also an axe design.

When I was thinking of what kind of weapon I wanted to make, I was like, "Well, there's already so many different weapons for warriors or any melee class, and for the most part spellcasters have to share the same skins for staves. I hope some of the shields get made for Strength instead of Tactics...there seems to be alot more really cool looking shields for tactics (I hate that my shield with the best specs in a Kournan Defender).

I entered two things and got placed as finalist. I think this would be the one that placed...

Shout out to my buddy Gwen. :P I tried painting it, decided it looked horrible and submitted the outline instead.

This is the other one I did. It was rushed. If I'd had more time I would have colored it. :/

*cries* I want those two so badly Why must you tempt me so! Damn judges >.< Love the little Lyssan twist on the Chakram handle, found that very interesting, and the jewels were a nice touch. The 'growing-hand-staff-thingy', not sure what to call it XD, looks excellent too. Very interesting concept, I would've bought either of those skins had they made it in game. But alas... my caster weapon skins must remain mediocre. Why is it for every 1 decent skin of a caster weapon in game there is like 10 nice skin warrior and ranger weapons >.< Casters need some love

Blobulator, I hear ya. That's why I designed that staff. I only have one caster on my account, but I feel like there's just not enough different weapon skins for them compared to others. Warriors got it made...axes, hammers, swords and shields...and as many incarnations of those as you like... and then endgame weapons for casters are pretty much all the same skin in Nightfall (as I found out when I was thinking of what to get my next character that gets through).

That was based on the Stormseed Jacaranda from Nightfall...I guess this would be closer to the sentient seed part. The idea was somebody thought they could harness the air magic power from the seed. It worked for a while, and the wielder refused to put it down, even when it started to grow into and around his hand. Plants need water, and soon he could not provide for the Jac. It tapped a vein to quench its thirst. This could end one of two ways, the lack of circulation caused the hand to die and be amputated, or the wielder was dehydrated and died for his stubborn desire for power. Either way, the hand made it to this air magic staff.

^ nice story behind you entry...

I submitted my 'teddy hanging' staff because i have this crazy idea that Gwen from Proph. is evil, and I thought I remembered here toting a teddy. When I found out that it was just a flute.. i decided to submit anyway.
